Founded in 1986, WORK Microwave initially focused on a range of research and product design on behalf of companies of excellence in the electronics sector.
The company’s initial strength was in creating “clean” clock sources. Key product areas included oscillators, synthesizers, and IF and RF frequency converter modules. Over time, it has evolved as a company of in-house designed and manufactured solutions adding RF signal generators in the product portfolio. In 1995 it was the turn of the electronic modules devices for use in defence, which have been joined the previous product range.
The last development led to define and consolidate the current four business units:

• Satellite communication
• Defense Electronics
• Microwave sensors for industry
• Navigation simulators
